well, I've already asked this before, but *someone* deleted the thread... ;|anyway, what I would like to see is a small webspace, maybe on 68kmla.com? where you can store your stuff. Doesnät have to be large, but all ffree web space companies I've tried are BS. Can *anyone* store some pics for me, *anywhere*? Fleet Covert Ops Padlock Magnet |

I agree - it would be nice to have some space where we could all store stuff. Not just pictures, but software - particularly utilities. On the flip side though, it would be hard to manage. Think about it, opening up FTP for 'however many members there are of MLA' is just asking for trouble.68k MLA ParaMedic |

If you have acess to a Mac OS 9 Mac, you can register for iTools...then you can acess the iDisk itself from a PC...I do remember Apple was touting that a little while ago...-------------------- keeper of the website and beholder of the Quadra/Centris Stick of Justice™ -------------------- |

When you setup an iTools account, you're given a 20MB virtual "disk drive" that can be mounted on your desktop (for a given amount of time) and used to drag-and-drop files. It a whole lot easier to use for newbies than FTP!666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Regular Disappear! |

Go to Apple's site and hit the iTools tab, JT! I'd give you the direct link, but I'm a PC and it redirects you.666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Regular Disappear! |
