At all costs don't post your street address' in the forums!!! I had a friend who got his house broke into and a bunch of stuff stolen including his computers when they caught the guy that had done the deed the police said that the computer record said that he trolled in forums. He looked for people to give out personal info that he could use like address's then watched the homes and broke in when people were at work or school. I would feel real bad if someone got hurt or things stolen because of a silly thing like an address in one of our forums.

Try getting a Yahoo account or some other Webmail account like HotMail! That way you can at least have some type of email access if your main email isn't working. If you can get on line and read these posts then you could also get a webmail account and send and receive email.

Or I just thought of this I use Mail2Web to read and send mail when I am at work or out of town on a holiday. You just type in your email address and password and it will retreve all your mail from that account and allow you to reply to it or send out new mail.

It'd probably be easiest to get a whole new cable with the connectors crimped onto it in the right places - but of course a longer piece, perhaps even with a connector for a possible drive in every bay, just in case you go along that path sometime :). Hook it up to your extra drive(s) also, and the terminator on the end of the cable if your 840 uses one - and vroooom!
