Using Windows to get to these forums. So sad.

I know, I know. If I had a choice I wouldn't. But, I setup the Win98 desktop to look as much like OS 9 as possible!

Actually once I get my Ethernet MicroDock in the mail I'll be able to hook my Duo 280 up to the company T1...that will be sweet!

One of the things I absolutely detest about Windows is the fact that you have to actually search for and download a program just to do screen captures. Then, since you don't bother to pay the shareware fee, you get stupid stamps up in the corner like that.

Jesus, why anyone would knowingly use this OS in their hom is a mysery to me.

Windows must really suck! The keyboard drivers don't even work properly!

If you had a dollar for every post before yours, plus one, you could buy an apple II...how exciting is that?? Fine. It's not. Oh, also, mods: can we ban him or something for saying "lemme gitta w00t w00t!" ? That's terrible.

Hey, I am a mod! I suppose I can ban myself, though, if you like.

Actually, Ctrl+PrintScrn will copy the entire screen to the clipboard. Primitve, but ocassionally useful.

Does that actually work, Coxy? Alot of PC people ask me whether there's a way to get screen shots on a Winbox as easy as on a mac, and I just tell them no.

That's a bit of a misnomer then... it should be "COPY screen". Ah, the complexities (and insanities) of Windows.

I've tried that on a number of Winboxes and it doesn't work, which is why I always end up having to d/l a screen capture app.

ctrl-alt-prntscrn will copy the window on a peecee, just like cmd-shift-4. And don't worry - I don't go near peecees unless absolutely necessary. The reason I know that is because we are required to do it for my java class at school

You know what, I like that idea. I like it a lot. What was decided about self promotion? Didn't someone make themself Apple ][ sergeant?

Don't you mean a brigadier?

brigadier general \Brig`a*dier" gen"er*al\ [F. brigadier, fr. brigade.] (Mil.) An officer in rank next above a colonel, and below a major general. He commands a brigade, and is sometimes called, by a shortening of his title, simple a brigadier.

Excellent. Does captain outrank sergeant? Whose section is more important, Apple ][ or observation? Oh well, my rank is only making fun of myself anyway.

Do you mind shortening that signature a bit?
