any idea if the power adapters would work with a powerbook 145,150, or 160? I looked at the model number on the adapter i have, and the ones that are selling, but they are different. but maybeeeeeeee somone knows? I was hoping i could use them with above mentioned 68ks TitoTito Macs Liberated: Powerbook 145 Powerbok 150 Powerbook 160 Apple \\c (now dead) |

don't know about yours, but i don't think they're for THE 100 specifically. mine is a: model #ADP-17AB REV A Apple Low-Power AC Adapter Output: DC 7.5 V 2.0 AThe ones in the picture don't appear to have the big ferrite ring that mine does about 3" from the tip, the printing is illegible in the 'peg, but the blocking of the text makes me think it doesn't say the same thing mine does, and the PowerBook 100 wasn't actually part of Apples' 100 series, which is the designation of the adapters at auction. the PB100 was a parallel development for Apple by Sony and is an entirely different architecture more akin the the (non)portable. i think you've got a shot as long as they are not the defectively designed (motherboard mangling) original PB100 adapters, which i will lay very long odds WERE developed by apple's clowns in cupertino. jt Edited by - Trash80toG-4 on 18 Mar 2002 13:52:41 |
