Due to that whole 'college student' thing I have going, space, money and time are tight. I haven't had the opportunity to liberate for a long time. What shall I do to keep myself in the spirit of things until such a time when I can be more active again?Sgt. Well, you could do as much research as you can, fill your brain with as much 68k knowledge as it will hold. Then write a sci-fi novel where all the characters are Rebel 68k macs fighting to destroy the evil x86 Empire...and save Princess ColorClassic... um, yeah.666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Regular Disappear! |

I guess the hero would be slinging an old ADB square mouse like a mace and using the Apple II keyboard as a sheild...would his moniker be Sir Mac-a-lot?

Are you referring to the actual keyboard of the Apple ][, the keyboard + cpu of Apple ][, or the //gs ADB keyboard? That //gs 'board is a bit to measly to serve as a shield...that Apple Extended Keyboard II, however, is a beast! -------------------- Spellcheck/Grammar Bandit and beholder of: -the Quadra/Centris Stick of Justice™ -the HTML Keyboard of Greater Knowledge™ -Compact Mac Wand of Power with Shocking Flyback Transformer Tip™ -------------------- |

Yes, but I have come to believe that if you're not going to do something right, don't do it. Be a master before going public, nobody wants to see failed attempts.

I'd be willing to draw it for you. Of course, then I'd have to sit here at my subicle and draw instead of posting to six different forums at the same time... 666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Regular Disappear! |

unless they're Van Goghs that nobody wanted that he traded or gave to friends like the good doctor!Loosen up and do it! Big brass ones worked out just fine for Warhol and Kieth Haring fairly recently and Ellsworth Kelley's total lack of technical ability didn't slow his ego or success down a bit! I get the biggest kick out of the "Janovic Plaza Paint Store Logo/Sample Swatch Series" every time i see it downtown! People who think they are GREAT artists apparently don't need any talent or training and those that have great talent and training sometimes choose to transcend it as in Picasso's case. jt *figures that was kinda on topic, but wonders if it was actually coherent?*
