Right now it's running BeOS and a really crappy monitor, is there anything funky to be done with it?

<url="http://classic.tucows.com/beossoft.html">Here's</url> a site where you could find some useful software for it.
BeBoxes are very cool, BTW. Where did you get it?

MMMMMMMM!!!!

A BeBox is one of the only non-Apple machines I lust after (the others being an Amiga and a color NeXT slab or cube)

Just max out the RAM, get a nicer HD, get the last version of Be OS (Palm bought Be...grrrr) and play until the cows come home! Those 'Boxes use fairly standard PC parts, if I'm not mistaken...

(if you have a digital camera, show us some pics!)

You can buy it for $1000000...

Anyway, it's not actually mine, it's one of the acquisitions of the Univesity Computer Club here, but it's not doing much.

They also have a NextSlab, but it's not working.

The only thing that would be cooler than a BeBox would be a NeXt box. I saw two on eBay a while ago.... I probably should have bid on them....

I hate people with BeBoxes and NeXT black hardware.

Because I don't have either and I really feel I need to have some of it.

Hey ~Coxy, could you post screenshots of BeOS? I would love to see the 68k version of it!
Also, was BeOS a Unix-based OS or was it built on something else?

It's not 68K, it's PPC (2x 604e.) How do you take screenshots on a BeBox?
