Ice cream: just about anything is good - I really like mint chocolate chip, Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz (for you non-Ben and Jerry's fans out there, it's coffee ice cream with chocolate chunks in it, and the chocolate chunks contain ground-up espresso beans - I once ate an entire 500 mL tub of the stuff and was just uncontrollable for the rest of the night), and I also had ginger ice cream once and liked it (though I haven't had it since... I should do that again sometime).

Movies: just about anything that makes me laugh - but it has to be at least moderately intelligent. For those of you who have never seen Life is Beautiful, drop what you're doing and go rent it now! It's so worth the watch! Another funny one that comes to mind is Saving Grace. They're both foreign films (Italian and British, respectively), and so they're free of all the commercial $#%@! that makes up most of Hollywood's fare...

ewww Spumoni *shudder*

I kinda like all ice cream so it's hard to pick a favorite...

But movies, though, that's no problem. Office Space and Trainspotting.

Spumoni is the anti-ice cream. Generally speaking, ice cream is tasty! Spumoni isn't tasty. Therefore, Spumoni isn't ice cream

Favorite Ice Cream = Dreyer's Green Tea (not yet sold in stores, as far as I am aware)

Favorite Movie = Anything by Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman or Jean-Luc Godard

i love green tea also, thought about teaseing fw about it!

i saw 2001 in first release, i defy anyone to divine the meaning of the film/book without having read clarke. i'm not saying that it wasn't a good film, but when i later started devouring sf, at first i was appalled, but later i realized that kubric's myopic vision and failed story telling was more or less unavoidable barring the unlikely event of an unparalled masterpiece of direction.

very good film, but three or six cigars short of a box of havana's finest.

oops! forgot the screenplay link:

Hey, JT do they sell green tea ice cream in the stores there on the East Coast? Over here, they sell it at Ice Cream parlors (and only a handful, at that), but not in the grocery stores.

I don't really think of 2001 as Kubricks's finest. I'd say Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, the Shining and A Clockwork Orange are my favorite Kubricks.

I got both of them Friday night, but haven't had a chance to check out the attachments, yet. I'm assuming they were complete, though.
