I'm not too sure, but i'm thinking that the IIe is only designed to have one floppy controller at once, although I could be wrong.

Why would you need more than one controller? Each one can handle 2 disk ][s, which is all you'd need for copying or anything else I can think of.
Anyway, it should be easy enough to test. Pull one out and try a restart. Slot #6 is the recommended location.

good thought tho, if there's no way to configure an address on one of the cards it's a good bet there would be a conflict. it's hard to imagine one of them autoconfiguring.
