I recently obtained an old LaserWriter IIg from a school district for free. The Technology coordinator had it in his office and was going to throw it out because it took up to much space so I said I would take it. I know its not a 68k mac but its the same era. It has 5mg of ram and works like a charm! I have it networked to my 660AV that I upgraded the OS to 8.1 and my other two that are powermacs(6500 and 7300)I don't know much about it other than I was told it was top-of-the-line in its day!

Yeah, the IIg is sweet. That once was the top model. The best part is, it has ethernet.

Get an AAUI transever, and then you can network it onto your ethernet network for some network printing.

I wish I had that... I only have a IINTX, which a LocalTalk to Ethernet transever box.
