My Color Classic has been acting funny lately. Sometimes when I turn it on the screen will flicker to yellow then to a duller shade of the normal color the back to normal. It doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't happen in the order mentioned above all the time. So if anyone knows... what is the matter???

My CC had the same problem, but it turned to purple. Eventually it just permanently flicked to purple and hasn't changed since...

Damn...I need to get around to fixing my CC up. It's still just sitting there with a corrupted install on 7 on it's wee little drive. I've got to get around to putting that 2GB drive in it like I said I would...

Alright, how are you supposed to put a new hd in one of these CC's? i can get to the motherboard fine, but the hd is another story. So there really isn't a know way shy of sending it in someplace to get it fixed? If so that is bad... I like my CC...

Hey now, a 68k soldier must learn to tear down and build-up his own machines! That and sending it to somebody (assuming there was somebody to send it to) would be more hassle and expense than it's worth.

This site has the best info for getting into a CC chassis, IMHO.

Yeah, I've been there before, and in respose to you saying that we should be able to tear down and build up our machines, I have this to say... I like my CC and I really don't have the cash to buy a new one at the present moment if I really screwed up something. So for now I will gather advice and listen to others about how to do those types of things.
