Some news (rumours) about the holy grail of emulation.

Many of you have probably heard of Apple's secret Star Trek(1) projects: getting an Apple OS to run on a PC. A few developers are even trying to make an OS X-like X-Window manager(2) for x86 Darwin(3).
A company called Microcode Solutions(4) will be demonstrating/releasing the first ever PPC emulator for Windows next month at MacWorld Tokyo. Microcode has said that the emulator will be available as software-only or with an additional PCI card containing a G3 or G4 processor for added speed. Using this PPC emulator, a Windows user can run any Mac OS an iMac can run and any Macintosh PPC software.

That seems like the sort of thing a PC user would download illegally (the software version, of course) and install just to laugh at...kind of like me and SoftWindows 68k
