Umm alcoa we must have posted at the same time. But I assume that you were talking about MacAddict right? If so I will do a little asking around the MacAddict boards and Look throught my MacAddicts. Thanks for the suggestion though I would have never thought of that. Hopefully skamen see's this post...

it was before macaddict came out and CD's bundled with magazines was a fairly rare treat. might have been macuser, but macworld rings truer somehow, might want to check their site. look up the intro date of the Quadra 630 and the newton, if the newton was introed over two years later, there's no sense in digging for the CD, but i know i'v got one somewhere.

the only other thought i had would be to find the newton development packages, artillery sounds like the kind of thing that might have been provided as an example. there might even be a way to port simple games and apps to the newton with all the cross platform development tools that have become available. look into doing that and your new forum could become the hotbed of a newton renaissance! development tools and info would make great content for the site too.

congratulations to you and skamen on your provisional moderator promotions,
jt

back again, check the current macaddict disk and search for terms like howitzer, cannon, carronade, mortar, incoming, shellfire, shrapnel or anything else you can think of that somebody might have picked as a name for a clone of artillery. look up all the definitions, add the new words you find, hit roget's to add more to your list of related terms and google for newton a/o apple and any of these wo...........
