Hello, I have decided to put to use an old duo and dock (280c) that I have. Is it possible to have Claris emailer check my mac.com e-mail? Also, if this is not possible, any suggestions of free e-mail that it can check? |

We had a big discussion in a thread here about ClarisEmailer not fully working with Mac.com email accounts. You should be able to receive mail fine, however, depending on your ISP's blocking or not blocking outside access to Port 25, you may not be able to send mail. Remember, as they say in Detroit, your mileage may vary.666th poster to the 68K Macintosh Liberation Army Forums Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Visit my site! |

Hmm, I have tried what seems to be everything. The closest that I get to actually getting the mail is that it will just hang on the 'checking mail account'...Any suggestions? I have it set up as the smtp server as smtp.mac.com which I think is correct...
