Anyone know how/where to get copies of AppleShare IP? just about any version would be cool, as I have 68k or PPC Macs that could use it. I want to set up some servers for the house, specifically a proper Print server, and network hard drives. ~Marchie ~~"We are all Mad here."~~ |

Not that this would directly help you, but my university's bookstore carried it until about two weeks ago. Indirectly, this says that there are still copies around, look at Mac-only stores, university bookstores, clearance sales.

Alas, noplace around here DOES... at least not old versions. the most recent costs an arm and a leg and a chunk of change too, even with academic discounts. And it doesn;t work on 68k Macs either. Although it IS good to hear that SOME places carry it. ~Marchie ~~"We are all Mad here."~~ |

What version of Appleshare will install on a 68k? I have 5.3 (I think) and a copy 6.x running on my beige G3. I had no idea it would even be 68k compatible.------------------------------- This... is my BOOMSTICK! |
