anyone know where i can find an image of a powerbook 540c disks that came with it.

Hi - They came with system 7.1.1. You can get sets of floppy disks on eBay and other places. If you're just after a system to run it, you can d'load 7.5.3 from Apple. For the optimum for this computer, perhaps, a 7.6.1 cd is awfully nice. If it helps, my PB500-series page - http://www.viclink.com/home/poletti/pb500/index.html

7.1.2, actually.

I don't know if there were PB500-specific floppies, or if it was the "regular" Quadra edition of the OS.
