This is a hack of a 68k, my own personal twist on this would be to go for the G3, but a 190/190cs hack would be 68kCorrect!
. . . has anybody else ever noticed that the 10.4" LCD from the 190cs/5300c, and hopefully the 5300ce, would fit very nicely into the LCD housing of the Macintosh Portable?
Is the MLB connector a/o LCD connector (or, heaven forbid, the LCD cable . . . ) the same form factor on the 5300ce or 1400c Displays/Logic Boards?
If the 1400c mobo can drive the 5300ce's 10.4" Active Matrix LCD, maybe I can satisfy my Paleo-G3 urgings with a 1400c/G3/Portable hybrid!

p.s. a Portable/5300ce/603e/117/10.4" 800x600 Active Matrix LCD in an expanded bezel opening might have to do . . .
p.p.s. I think that about does it for this year's hack musings!
