OK, I need an assist comrades!Does anyone have a link to a piccie of either the 1400c mobo showing the section covered up by the "PCMCIA Eject Mechanism/IR Interface Daughtercard" aka: PC/IR Board 661-1190 or the bottom of that Daughtercard itself. They don't have to be high resolution, I only need to see if there's a 1" square ASIC hiding in either location.
What I'm looking for is the location of the T-REX PCMCIA Controller ASIC. If anyone knows whether it's in either of those locations, that'd be all I need to know for now. The pics on MadDog's site of the MLB Top and the MLB Bottom make it fairly clear thatT-REX ought to be sandwiched in between there somewhere.
Oh . . . and if anyone happens to have a contraband PB with 1400 silk-screened on the LCD bezel and could look to see where that nasty little T-REX is hiding (a/o email me piccies, or better yet, scans of the daughtercard/mobo) I'd greatly appreciate it!
