It is kinda funny how one becomes accustomed to such incidents to the point of overlooking it. Whenever it happens I just go on to one of the other couple forums I participate on, then try popping back on here later.

Having the MLA gone, is usuall OK for me, but only when it's for a long period of time... because I'll just note that I went absolutely bonkers without the MLA, but it seems to have come back within a 30 hour ~ish period...

Most of the time, but every now and then I get a new welcomed visit as a result at the community forums.
Sometimes a good thing really can come out of something bad.

In all other accounts though, I agree, it sucks something royal.

Oh yes, and trying to not get fired from my telemarketing gig (oh yes Maclover and any other Australian members, how would you like to buy a holiday pack of me that can save you 15% t0 60% off your next holiday to over 190 resorts around Australia )

I was thinking... If Microsoft actually made Jet Engines, we'd be in some serious trouble seeing as how often they seem to fail... lmao

LOL! It's like that story about if microsoft made cars.... steering is a feature, brakes are an optional extra, and it would crash twice a day!

It's a good thing that noone's ever related apple to making cars...

Ford being what? speedy, comfortable and reliable?

Have you SEEN the testing that they do at their proving grounds?

I bet that Ipex doesn't do it...

I've heard about GM's testing ground, and it is nowhere near as comprehensive as ford's...

That's probably another thread on another forum though

Because of the outages (and miscellanous other things) I've started to go to Stryder's Community.

One could say that I have "Catching up' to do there

Lol, yeah, you're certainly on track for a come-back.

The Chevy-Ford discusion is actually over there somewhere in the Car-Talk forum, but I'm not sure which thread. Just look for LCGuy to be the creator of it.
This would be one, "Any other Holden people in here?"

I personally agree with ML5/LCG on the opinon of Fords. I've had a lot of cars over the years, (another thread in that forum), and they have never behaved nearly as well as any other car I've owned.

Ford = slow, uncomfortable, and unreliable. Btw, does Ford fang their cars like they're stolen in the desert, in extremely hot temperatures? I know for a fact that Holden beats the shit out of their prototypes before they're released.

lol, uLike being logged in?

Either way, our family has owned fords, and the only problem that we've had is with our Ford Taurus, it's engine was uberborked. (replaced it several times ~ish)

It otherwise, was a very comfortable and fast ride.

EXACTLY!!!!
It was the transmission in mom's car that borked it out so many times, without a tach, it's somewhat hard to keep it in check, but it's a nice comfy ride, and it's a quiet car too (well, it was when we still had it at least) (quieter and comfier than the jeep...)

And why is that? Anyway, i'd rather push a Holden than drive a Ford.

umm.....well....because, the do!

I though have come up with a good solution to this on going disagreement. We get a normal Commodore and Falcon, go to some South American country, and make a televised 'crash the cars till one blows up'. The first one to be destroyed is the looser.

Um..we can get 2 of the natives to drive the cars...just in the case of the likely death of a driver.
