You know what that means don't you?

Fake Santas and old people with red Salvation Army tins.
and Jolly Holiday spirit all around.
I better get my rear going on that project that's due this month.
Christmas is right around the corner.
And another successful year of being alive, and getting good grades, and having fun will be over.

In the new year, we'll be able to make goals. Some we'll keep, some will turn out not to be so important to us.
After that month of January, It'll be February. Another month of love and such. I turn that sweet age of "16" in February, and who knows, maybe this year I'll have a Valentine

What are your thoughts on this marvelous month? any shorter term goals for December? Any ideas for resolutions and stuff for January of 2004?

WIll you evern be able to get used to writing "12-XX-03" on your papers? (12 being the 12th month)

No. I'm still not used to writing the year 200X. I still tend to start writing 199X. SIGH!

Well, I hate cold weather... and snow... and I don't really like Christmas anymore because the stuff I want is too damn expensive, so I don't really care... Allthough, I may get lucky and get to spend it with a special someone... We'll find out if she who she chooses... she likes me and this other guy, she's just not sure right now, but she's great...

my only plans are to get my stuff sold and buy a BMW... and go up to the UP of MI and stay out there for a while with my bud Artie... and if the girl chooses me, she can come too. I also need to get another job... Local TV station is interesting me... We'll see.

I hate Christmas. I just hoard my money and spend it on myself later on in the year . And it is far to hot on Christmas anyway. Heh...Ill be working every day except Christmas Day this year anyway

Good ideas usually are created by crazy people, go figure...Go to Top of Page

I write the date in the dd/mm/yy format, and people look at me odd, considering that this country is the mm/dd/yy format. Writing a cheque, the cashier told me that the eleventh of march was several months ago (it was november third, but I write it 3/11/3

Dont' we have the great and *optimistic* bunch here?

*HOO*RAH*

Aside from the fact that we're still writing "1984" as the year on our papers and such....

And the somewhat chilling thought that so many people here seem to be taking such an awful attitude toward the holiday season...

Is there anyone here who is looking forward to the new year? the holidays? ANYTHING???

Clinton glad I am not the only one that writes the date that way. Though I use the name of the month instead of using a number i.e. 02 Dec 03. I do that to help avoid confusion. Thought it does still throw people.

As for December the only thing I like about it is that I get about a month off from school.

Hey Derek! Great to hear it, not a pessimist
Good luck at those swapmeets, the last big computer swapmeet I went to I was ripped off on an old P90 that only ever gave me troubles after that...

I wanted to get a crazy olde IBm looking thingy, or anold Compaq "Portable" dealie... (with TV out!) but I stuck to what I knew, what I thought would be giving me a boost in performance and confidence over my Compaq Prolinea 486 machine of the time... :sigh: I've never seen a 486 look better than it did then

[one of my cousins got a 180c free, and a 5300c for 30$]

but we sold one 5260/100 for 25$, and 3 Mt. Dew Code Reds for 50¢ ea heh…
[Im thinking that we should have a dedicated pop stand there next time ]
