Thats one big bastard of a screen for an imac Not that badly priced eighter: $3800 AUD. And before you say it, I know I am probably the last person to have noticed the change Checking at the Apple Museum......took me 10 days to notice Good ideas usually are created by crazy people, go figure... |

I agree with how big a screen that is for an iMac. Its also a very expensive screen...especially one for an all in one system that can't be upgraded...."**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

I gaurantee you, that if it ever happens, it'll be on a 20" iMac..To tell the truth, I thought that the 17" LCD iMac's Screen was awfully huge.. But then again, didn't we see the 17" LCD iMac right before we saw the 17" AlBook? (around jan/feb of this year?) This could be a sign of a 20" PowerBook(doesn't dana have a vHack of one of those?) That having been said, unless they've moved the trackpad to the very right, and added in a full numpad, I'm not sure I'll be upgrading to the 20" AlBook Wouldn't it be interesting though? /me notes that a 20" AlBook would be bigger than his desk is... I'm sure there must be an easy way to adjust the tensions, it looks like it has holes in the sides of the hings for some odd kind of tool to tighten things up-------- Apple ][e. Apple ][gs, LC 3, Q605, Perf 638, Colour Classic (300 603ev) 2*6100, 7200, PTP 225 (Quad 604), G4 Cube |

my 17" already covers my tray, and half my neighbors tray on airlines, heheheand if you watch the design video for the 17" powerbook, you'd see that the 17" powerbook was designed from the 17" iMac's screen. Having the same resolution as the 17" iMac might not be a hint? I certainly hope that there's a way to adjust the iMac, or else that there's going to be LOADS of niice (really cheap!)
