Background info--->last Friday my Q605 was called into duty for an art installation. It worked amazingly! I set it up with a connectix quickcam, apple presentation system, and a crappy old TV for the monitor to act as one of the eyes for my installation. To get the quickcam to show full screen I used the closeview util. . .it was sweet!Now to the real question. . . I want to save out a series of images onto some HD so another mac can grab em. I have been trying to instal an Asante MacCon-i LC-10T for a while now with no luck. This card came off a Performa 630, where it worked great. But everytime I run the installer, and reboot, I get no ethernet card installed. Tattle Tech confirms this. And when try to switch over to ethernet, I get errors.
I have read that some LC/PDS cards will not work in 605s. The packaging says this card will work in a 605.
What suggestions do you have? I am running OS 7.5.5. Since I have nothing of importance on the 605, I am going to do a fresh instal and see where that gets me.
Which models of LC/PDS ethernet cards have you folks tried and had success with in a Quadra 605?
