I got ahold of a USB-IDE bridge and I am going to put it and a hard drive swap bay into an old external CD case. The drive just covered in dirt and a coke that I spilt on it years ago. It looked a pale yellow. I gave it a bath and when I pulled it out it was platinum.

Very nice! Y'know...that reminds me....a few weeks ago, i gave the side panel of my Quadra 700 a bath in the sink, filled with water and washing up liquid. When i was finished, i reckon it probably took about 4 years of yellowing off it. I wonder how much i'd need to do to get the other 8 years off it...

I once washed the top/outer shell of a Dell Optiplex desktop, P200. I'm smazed that it had much stuff on it. Jokingly, I told my dad that I'd need to be doing the rest of my computer next. (This was the dell that used to be an IW, and then I gave it to the neighbor)
