So... something different?

how about this...

I'm working on IW and mlagazine again lately...

I need as many Quadra related articles as possible. If you wrote something for another site, I'd like to see it. If you've been writing in a journal with pictures on hwo you completely rebuilt your Quadra 700, or if you know how Cinemafia made his 840av to be so cool (because I am not publishing the MLAgazine without a piece on Making of CinéQuadra...) then I'd like to hear from you!

Also, as far as IW goes... I have a bit of a page set up here...
http://cory5412.50free.net/

and a forum setup here...
http://cory5412.50free.net/

They're not on IW, and the forum certainly isn't one that I think will last, but it's interesting to know that I at least know how to make a decent website.

I'm hoping to put screenshots of Jaguar and Panther on there maybe. I might also do a tribute to OS9 or something....

On the IW: I'm trying to get YDL3 running... which is not an easy thing for me to do sometimes... I just need to do this and that and *poof* I need to start all over again...

I want to get panther server, but I also want to run my server legally.

Hummm…Maybe Greg Hunt [and or me] could do an article about getting A/UX 3.0.1 on the net -- but while preserving DHCP for the rest of the network, and only using the router for the 950…
[I like the convinince of having real IPs for everything - that's why I insisted on not putting the router on at the modem]

currently, I need to reinstall A/UX, and then reconfigure everything… [Note: We haven't gotten it working again, yet]

the current network setup is:

Modem>5Port hub> 4port hub [the one my main computers are plugged into]>8port hub [half of the ports are dead though]>LinkSys Router>Quadra 950 with A/UX

Well, Im in school, so I have to go now- more later!

If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac!

That would be great.

Charts, graphics, graphics and pictures would also do her nicely (You have OmniGraffle or another graphics program right? )

lol, remember, I'm still a classic user on a 9500/G3
but Photoshop and AppleWorks should handle that… Now all I need to do is get around to it…

lol, doesn't your family's iMac have OmniGraffle or something? I know that my TiBook came with it (but then again, that's the difference between a pro mac and an iMac ) Either way, thanks in advance

UPDATE TO IW:

I'm now running Mandrake Linux 8.2, and I must say... I am liking this a million times better than OSX. Anyone who wants a web server, should not use X server. They should skip right on to Mandrake Linux, it's MYSQL and Apache/PHP and Perl all comes preconfiggurated. That having been said, i was up and running on here with phpBB 2.2 in less than 2 hours. (That's compared to 4 hours, usually spread over 2 days, to get OSX server running properly.)
