I Just brought an old Q 700 back to life. With 20 MB of RAM the thing is pretty snappy! Anyway, I love how the case can go on its side as a tower. As a desktop it's kinda clunky but as a tower it's great. I was looking at it and thought it would be perfect to morph into a mini G5 style hack. So I am looking for ideas on how to attempt this (material suggestions etc). I'll do a practice run on a IIcx case this week."Holy crap! Great to hear you got her up and running...how'd you do it? I have a Q700 with 20 megs of RAM also, and she makes a very fine system for tinkering with A/UX."**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |
