Well I want to use my dos card, in conjunction with my 840av, So I was thinking of giving my 840av a little friend, Which I would network with my 840av & connect them both as to power up at the same time. What would be my best choice? I want something as small as possible & somthing which can use the dos card. An old lc case(pizza box)? or just hack a new case? What would be the smallest motherboard? shaktiman Quadra 840av, prettymuchmaxedout8xcd drive os 8.1 128 meg ram, 500 meg hard drive 3 monitors 15" & 14" & 14" |

What kind of DOS card are you referring to? From memory, there was 1 for the Centris/6100, one for the LC 630, one for the 4400/7220 and one for the PCI Powermacs. These last two were not called "DOS compatibility cards" but rather "PC compatibility" Plus there was one by Radius (which I have but haven't got it to work yet) and the Orange Micro series of course. Therefore the LC pizza box case wont be any good.~~ Master 68k liberator. Too many to list. Retained collection includes SE, Classic, ClassicII, IIsi (w/NetBSD) IIvx, LC, LCIII, LC475, Quadra840AV,950(w/PPC card) PB145,520,190 & many contraband Powermacs. Last one liberated:LC580. |

mini-itx.com - the most powerful "DOS card" available for a 68k mac ... just add one inside your case (be it pizza or whatever) with a KVM switch ... perfect Orcadian MLA Division 68ks Liberated: 2 |
