Have you notice that things in life can become strangely ironic.

Take for example: I recently applied and got accepted for a job as a telemarketer, this involves me working from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 10:OOam to 4:00pm on Saturdays. The workplace is roughly 40 minutes away, so Im getting a train there every day. Im geting paid $14.50 to $16.50p/h plus commission. I am planning ot use the money to buy myself a brand spanking new oboe, so I can use it in the schools concert band. The thing is, Concert band is on from 3:OOpm to 4:15pm on Monday. So, unless the teacher carries through with changing it to Friday which would be very convient for me, I am going to have to figure out some kind of solution.

Even the second goal for spending the money (buying a car) isnt going to eleviate this problem, and I really need the money.....and I really want to stay in the concert band . I dont want to push my luck at the job by asking whether I can come in an hour late every Monday.

Good ideas usually are created by crazy people, go figure...

I know how it goes. Unfortunately, for me, it seems that i need a car to get a job, yet i need a job to get a car!

Bah, and even if the music works out, it looks like next year I am living on a combination of caffeinated mints and drinks imported from America

If you want ironic, the night they executed Charles Manson at exactly 12:00 am, I woke up from a sound sleep and looked at the clock noting it was 12am and then went back to sleep. It was that next day I found out they had executed Charles Manson at exactly 12am that night. Weird, huh?

I remember when i first heard about Sept. 11th. I was at boarding school, and i had just woken up. My roommate was telling me about terrorists and crap, and i thought he was talking about a computer game, because i wasn't yet fully awake. Then i fired up the iMac to have a look at the news...
