I think the correct name for water is OXIDANE or Hydrogen Oxide.

According to my chem professor both Dihydrogen Monoxide or Dihydrogen Oxide are correct. I am all for banning it. Just look at the damage it does to the earth every year. The earth would be a much safer place with out it. --Eric
