What about hydrogen hydroxide? Or oxygen dihydride? Those contribute to the problem too.

I think the correct name for water is OXIDANE or Hydrogen Oxide.

where did oxidane come from?

in class, (*Bio I) we call them "waters" (for each H(2)O) or H(2)O....

ahh... :weirdie:

where did "OH2" come from?

Wasn't there something about having to have them all in alphabetical order?

According to my chem professor both Dihydrogen Monoxide or Dihydrogen Oxide are correct.

I am all for banning it. Just look at the damage it does to the earth every year. The earth would be a much safer place with out it.

ahh... yes... "I see"

My first thought after this is that someone has tried this before... (I wonder if it was me...)

I'm not all for banning "dihydrogen monoxide"..

just a 'thing' you know

Addictive, or just necessary for life on earth?

One could argue that guns are addictive

or that Oxygen is addictive...

next step: Ban Oxygen!
