Hey all, I have just (finally) opened my store - MacPlus in Wichita, Ks. I have loads of Mac parts from 128k to legacy stuff to G3s. If you need some parts just email me. So far I have liberated from various poor endings about 800 Macs throughout the years. Glad to have found this site.

I have multiples of each of these in parts form or whole reconditioned machines:

most models of original form Macs, II, (6)IIx, (7)IIfx, (14)IIcx, (16)IIci, (7)IIsi, Q605/630/650, (6)Q700, (9)Q800, (4)Q950, Centris 605, 610, 650, PM 6100, 7100, 8100 (3 are G3'd), 72/73/75/7600, 86/9600

Q950, Overclocked, 601 PDS card, 5 drive bracket, CD, 2GB HD, 256MB RAM, Dual 10Base-T (will be the shop file server most likely)

MacII w/ Radius Rocket

PowerBooks:
(2)140, (6)145/B, (1)165, (3)duo210, (1)230, (2)270c, (10)520s, (2)540c, (1)5300ce, (1)5300cs, (1) PowerBook G3 Kanga (nice)

Tons of NuBus cards, including FWB SCSI Jackhammer, Radius Video Spigot, National Instrument (scientific control cards), 10 BaseT, various Video
Quite few PCI cards

I also have surplus SGI for those interested.

I haven't finished with my invetory and pricing DB yet, so ask if you need something and we can haggle *hee hee*

I also sell new cables, etc. and NewerRAM coming soon.
just drop an email. macplusparts@cox.net

What a computer store with no website in this day and age?

Anyway make a list of your inventory and prices and maybe somebody here will need some of it. I could use a nubus scsi card and maybe a nubus sound card if the price is decent.

Well I'm working on having a site up soon. Just getting things rolling ya know. As far as a list goes I have way too much stuff to list already and more coming pretty soon. I have a SCSI Jackhammer NuBus card, but still have to test it. No sound cards found yet but I still have about 100 NuBus machines to invetory.

Any of those PCI cards be a 10/100 NIC?

SCSI CD burner?

Apple ATA CD-ROM such as beige G3? It has to have Mac ROM so I can install OSX.

Thanks.

Gah! I just moved from Wichita, KS too. Dang! Hey, do you ever go to boeing surplus for stuff? They generally have some older macs there for cheap. They even have some SGI stuff occassionally, I once saw an O2 for 100 bucks there. It's at 47th St south and something, I cant remember now. I dont know if its still there, but there was this place on the west side, just inside goddard on Kellogg called command computer surplus and this old guy had a huge load of stuff, mainly ancient stuff, but sometimes some macs too. I got my first mac, an SE/30 there about 7 years ago there. Good luck on the shop, BTW, what is the location of store, I will try and visit it next time I'm up there.

OK SpaceBoy - Which SGI? Have many from fridges to 195 R10 Impact

Lightning Stalker - I have 1 PCI 10/100 left but haven't tested fully and pretty sure it's fried. I put the rest of them in machines already. Not much G3/G4 stuff yet and as well as far as CDRs. Sorry. I will get more stuff in the future though!
My current major supplier has a few HP 9200(?) series SCSI CDRs but he wants more than eBay prices at a wholesale level.

q950 - yep useta be an everyday surpluser but they changed hours to Fri only, then moved it to Boeing property and they seem to have nothing all of a sudden. Command is long gone now. Get this the guy sold a construction dumpster full of boards to the gypsies for... $50. uhmm... that was dumb. Anyway that's why I'm opening my business, I have the only place around here to find surplus Mac stuff. Just me an' the good ol' Goodwill. I'm at Hillside and Harry in the old Pirates Cove Pet store building. Hope to see you some time.

Later to all - Brain
