just liberated Classic 2 4/40
does anybody know if it will run with 2 x 16mb simms ?

Nope. The highest capacity SIMMs that it will fully see are 4 meg ones. The 16 meg ones will probably work, but you'll only end up with 2 x 4 meg.

a pity, since 4mb simms are very hard to find ..

4 meg SIMMs hard to find? Nope, here in Australia its more like the opposite! I've never even seen a 8 or 16 meg 30 pin SIMM.

I think I have like, some 8mb simms, because my IIsi registers 33mb of RAM...

/me imagines a Classic II with 32MB of RAM... :niice:

who wants to help redesign the Classic II mobo?
