how could you get kicked out of school for having grades below 75%??

Here in America, and I should think that just the same in Canada, 75% is considered somewhat average.

Perhaps its time to consider public schooling as an educational alternative.

At my private school, everyone who wasn't "cool" like the dipshits was "gay", apparently, including me, lol.

Calling someone gay is pathetic....what is wrong with society now that a common expression is "you are gay"?

If you want to have some fun with this you could get some oregano put it in a zip lock bag and hide it in your dresser. Or better yet hide it in your parents dresser.

A mix of thyme, sage, black pepper, and celery seed works pretty well. It smells like shit too.

Or just take a pinch out of your parents stash.. alot faster and less effort. Then they can tell you how bad a person you are for smoking the same shit they do.

Personally I dont use pot, but I did smoke it once or twice in college in the late 80's and I dont think its much different from smoking cigs. Why people want to keep it illegal I dont know.

If you really want to freak the parents out melt some baking soda into a rock that looks like crack and buy a crackpipe. If that doesnt freak them out nothing will.

the implications of why pot is illegal in the US go back a long, long time and have a lot to do with the concept of Chronyism (spelling?). Basically the government is influenced by special interests <sarcasm>wierd huh?!?!?</sarcasm>. . .Other major things that have been the cause of Chronyism:
-the destruction of the public transportation system in the 20's-40's by GM, Standard Oil, and others
-the destruction of the idea that alcohol could be used to run cars efficiently (remember prohibition?!?!? wonder why it happened?). Cars run great on alcohol, clean and efficient.
-Pot Illegal: look up the millions of uses for hemp, and then compare it to the uses of cotton. Guess who won out? The rich cotton farmers (who had slaves nonetheless). And because it was not in their interest to compete with hemp, pot is illegal.

btw. . .it is in the US CONSTITUTION that if possible, a citizen of the US should plant an acre of hemp.

but boredom. . .look at it this way, you might meet some cool people at the job you pick up. So social life is not all dead. If you like school, I suggest you get back in there. . .if you don't like school I suggest you get back in there. Even if it is public. It's all about what you put into it. You can make your education whatever you want, if you can be self motivated. . .which can be tough.

lol. Or, you could try soaking the oregano in alcohol and then drying it to get most of the smell out. Then pour patchouli oil on it because that smells *just* like pot. Or maybe just pour patchouli oil on and that's enough to cover up the oregano smell.

Why make things so complicated? Just leave a well worn and mostly used pack of rolling papers in a jeans pocket in the wash . . .of course, parents can surprise you. When my mom found mine, she called in my dad and they just handed them to me after asking if they were mine! They said to make sure my little brothers and sisters never saw them.

I would totally try to graduate early depending on the grade you are currently in. I graduated one year early missing my senior year and it has proved to be a great thing! I am now in college and learning everything I always wanted to learn at a fast rate and loving it!

I should definitely add that this happened either just before or just after I graduated from college. It was probably more of a question of my parents being practical, rather than being cool with it, but it still suprised me. If I'd been in high school, I'm sure they would nave been a lot less tolerant.

ahh, ok. I thought that it was when you were my age or something (sophomore in HS)

I've given thought to graduating early... even seriously considered it, or an alternative pathway for high school. One such alternative pathway here is called the "Kingman Academy of Learning" (which will be adding a senior class to it's "high school" next year, IIRC)

Another alternative pathway, the one that I much wanted to take, was internet classes. I was complaining about not wanting to go to school in Kingman for so long, but internet classes _ARE_ so expensive...
