Can any one figure out what it is? It must be a truly super weapon indeed to allow them to stay in business with such stiff competition!

Clock rate means nothing to you for two reasons.

1) you're on a 400 or 500 G3 as your fastes mac (pretty decent, beside the other stuff though...)
2) you're running OS9, with which there is no discernable difference between a 140 MHz 604e and a dual 1.33GHz G4.

Depends on weahter they're running synchronous or in a harmonic
