I have for sale a Blue and white G3/300Mhz. It has a 32MB Radeon PCI card, 64MB RAM, 10GB ATA hard drive, on a ata/66 controller card, 56k modem, and keyboard/ mouse (original). I'm selling it for $310, because I need some cash... or, If you want to trade me a Playstation2, or an Apple laptop (must have Ethernet), I'll take a large chunk out of the price. The price includes shipping within the U.S. You can reach me on E-mail little_goblinman@yahoo.com or on Yahoo IM, user name little_goblinman. Come on people, I could really use some cash!

Man… I'd really love to get that… but I don't have 310, a PS2 or a PB to spare [I need my 5300ce for school, so unless you want a 145B… ]

But I do have
•9500/G3/300/207 RAM/Voodoo3 2000/24x CD/USB [if you really want 6 PCI slots ]
•a 233 G3 DT [it has an external 2GB SCSI drive, and an 8x CD drive; I'd have to take out the RAM if I bought the B/W though]
•loads of AAUI-15 ethernet [and some thinnet] adapters
•a couple of 7100/80's
•3 SCSI cards [80 pin external, 50 and 68 pin internal]
•a 6214CD
•PB 145B [works but the HD is bad and it's missing all but one case screw]
•an orig. Mac Portable [with black Apple case manuals sw, and it has the built in HD; but the mouse doesnt like to go left I think…]
•a 4400/200/32 ram/2GB ATA HD/CD
•Apple LaserWriter select 310 [paper jam light blinks so it wont print right now]
•an HP 48 port 10base ethernet hub [rackmountable]
•a 4.2 GB cartridge drive [with 5 carts; SCSI]
•a few SCSI 1 GB HDs [with external cases]
•an 8 port 10 base ethernet hub [no AC adapter, Radio Shack would probly have one]

heh, if any of this actually interested you, I wouldnt need the 56k modem… maybe not the HD either…

anyway, thanks

If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac!

Sorry, but I already have a couple of other desktops, but 9500's are cool... I don't need another desktop, my mom will kill me. I've wanted a mac portable for a while, 'cause they're cool, so if it works, I'll take a bit off of the price. If you don't need the HD, I'll take $10 off. Also, I can throw in an extra 128MB of RAM for an extra $20, if you want. Thanks for your interest!

Humm… How much do you think you could take off for the portable? [It works if you let the battery chage long enough before booting - remember these MUST have some charge in the battery before they will start; also the mouse doesnt like to go to the left, not sure why… I never got it booted up cause I don't have any OS 6 disks, and I can't figure out where to plug the internal HD to the Motherboard (I think the port is under the LCD hinge…)] remember, this does have a bunch of manuals, the black case [really cool I think, except for being huge…]

Humm… Im tempted to ask you what it would cost without the Radeon… [since I could use my Voodoo3], and with out the modem?

Humm… I would ask how much you'd take off for a PB 5300ce with ethernet, 2 batteries and a dual battery charger… but then, I can't sell this untill January…

Okey, and my last thing… My cousin just bought the B/W [link below], on ebay for a total of $270.03 [including S/H and insurance] So… Something to consider…

Sorry about the delay, but someone said they were going to buy the machine, but they didn't follow through. I'm getting tired of trying to sell this thing, so in a week it's going on ebay... for $270. If ANYONE wants it, it's now $275 including shipping to U.S. I think that's about what it would sell for on ebay. I'll take $10 off the price, if the video card is not needed. I can't really use any of the other stuff, so I won't reduce the price for removing the modem. It will now have 186MB of RAM INCLUDED in this price. Come on people, please!

Now that I think about it, I have some other stuff that might interest people here. A color NeXTstation Turbo, with 32MB RAM, 400MB HD, external cd-rom (a 300i in an external case, I think), NeXTstep 3.2 on CD-ROM, with boot floppy, NeXT laser printer (untested, no cable, weighs a ton), 17in. Color monitor (not in the greatest shape, but still works), original keyboard and mouse, and the book "NeXTSTEP PROGRAMMING". I guess I'll sell this as a package. has some scratches on the computer itself, but not too bad. I don't really want to sell this, and I don't know exactly what it's worth, so please make an offer.
I also have a ROM 01 Apple IIgs, with a 4MB memory card, and monitor, no keyboard and mouse. $20, shipping not included.
Last, I have a non-apple related machine (I hope I don't get killed for posting this), an IBM PC/XT, 5160, with monochrome monitor, and a butt-load of software. $50, plus shipping. (please don't kill me for posting this last item)

Most of us are poor here, so it's not the best place to sell new-ish hardware. Also, don't worry about people killing you for posting a PC here. Most of the people in here have a PC as a secondary machine. Heck, the PC is my primary machine.

Hey Derek,

A 17 inch black and white NeXT monitor ... I'm interested but the shipping might be a killer to Canada. Would you give me a shout via email about a price.

I understand the lack of money, that's why I'm selling all my junk. Newish hardware? The IBM XT is from 1985. And the NeXT station has an '040 in it. not exactly apple, but close enough. The G3 is newish, but I think I'm offering a pretty good price...
And the PC... I've always hated it. I got it last year, as a visual aid for my "history of personal computers" project. Stupid &^@#$% machine. I'm pretty sure IBM stands for "incredibly boring machines". It's not that it's that bad of a machine, I just think apples hardware AND software, at the time was better. I like my IIgs more than the XT... If anyone is interested in som OLD non-apple hardware, $35+ shipping for an osbourne, the worlds first "portable" computer

That's what I meant. This is the 68kmla and even a beige G3 can be kinda hard to sell here as a whole machine. I'd say that parts are easier to sell if it's newer than a beige G3. You never know.Go to Top of Page

Hey there!
I just read this thread, and I thought I'd throw in my best offer...
I have a /very/ nice condition PowerBook 1400/133 - it's a nearly complete set, with original box, clear plastic 'book covers', manuals, disks, etc, and some really cool extras. I will say that it's got a few (hopefully!) minor issues, but for the most part it's a great machine which served me well right up till I got my PowerBook G4. One catch - the 1400 doesn't have ethernet, but from what I hear, it's very easy to get a PCMCIA ethernet card for it.
Anyway, if this is something that you'd be intersted in, please drop me a line at huckdunsany-at-mac.com and maybe we can work something out!
:-)
