does anyone know anything about flashing Mac 7000's so that they'll work in a PC? i've got a 32MB and a 64MB, (PC and Mac, respectively) and it'd be cool to have the 64 in my G3 but i'll need something in my PC. i found a site that has the tools to flash it so it'll be Mac compatible, but i can't seem to find anything about doing it backwards. anyone have any ideas?

its the same procedure only you flash the PC ATi BIOS onto the card instead of the mac one using the FLASHROM dos utility. I believe that the Mac ROM is bigger so flashing the PC one onto a mac card should be less worrying.
I'm gonna buy my dad a 32mb PC version of the 7000 for his Beige G3 so ive been researching. You might want to download this: http://homepage.mac.com/mdouma46/7000pciCOMBO.sit because it contains all the ROMS (64mb, 32mb, Mac) and a PC bootdisk with all the tools and batch files to run to do the coversion for you. There are a few readme's in there so make sure you read them before diving in.
