I forget what kind of connectors go where, but depending on the price, I may be interested in that 8x DVD drive for some modding.

I was curious about the price for making an iRack DV but the company selling the kits wants 399 US which is overkill.

However, depending on the price of the RAM, my iMac could use an extra boost. I currently have 192, so if I took the 64 chip out and put a 256 in it would work out better. How much for the RAM?

I get paid at the end of the month, so I can't say for sure untill then if I have enough since I have a tonne of packages to send via Post, but if you can let me know a rough price I can tally it in and hope I don't go redline.

;-)

hmm let me think bout it. I was gonna build one of those converters since my grandpa figured out the voltages out of an iRack DV but i dont have the time and id rather upgrade the 1400. I'll let ya know once i get back from canada today
