Hi,

Having been a mac-nut since the 80s, I'd been thinkin of buying a G3/G4 to go with my P4/2.4ghz and get with the MacOS X programme. But I havent quite managed it yet and I have instead come by a bunch of liberated Macs (all free!). I'm already the owner of an SE (upgraded to SE/30/HDFD and 32mb/1gb HD) and a MacPlus (was holding a door open at my old work place) and other various peripherals, but I now am in the possession of these:

Macintosh SE (another, appears to have 4mb and System 7.01 Dutch)
IIci (wont boot as yet - please help me in Balloon Help forum)
LC (10mb i think, System 7.1 Dutch)
PowerMac 6320 (not 68k I know, but its running! 32mb/OS8)

Between them I have 2 ADB keyboards and a 12" Apple monochrome monitor and one ADB mouse. The IIci has a 16k cache card and a 3com ethernet card (but as I said, it wont boot). Not a bad haul!

From my Plus I have an external HDSC20 and an external CD-rom so that should help in my mission to resurrect them. I also have an appletalk cable.

My mission is to install 8.1 on the IIci (yes i know its 030 but it can be done) and to get it on the house network vis the ethernet card. The 6320 appears to have the add-on ethernet card too :) Now I have to work to do... I dont think this is gonna be easy.... :)

Cool nice to have ya along. Go for the G3/G4. I have a P4 2.53GHz but my G3 is only 300MHz. Every since I got the G3 I hardly ever turn on my P4.

Nice group ^_^

If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac!
