Not whining, just asking: Sometimes I come here and can't even log in; other times I'm here, composing and previewing and poof - when I go to post, the dreaded jet database error prevents me from doing ANYTHING except logging out (and sometimes even that fails).

Is this something I, as a browser user, can configure for? My cookies are always on....

Its not a problem with your comp, its a problem with the server. Its a Mordor$oft based server.

Yes, this site is run on windows 3.11 embedded in a HP laserjet 2 laser printer. When somebody in the server room tries to print we get a jet error.

Ok, Ok no more jokes till I get my morning cafein.

Don't you mean, a Windows CE embedded system? ;)

Actually, so far as I know, we're on a win2k server.

lmao unknown. . .
dunbar, search the forum (if you can wait that long) for topics like this and you will find some discussion on the matter. there is one currently going on in the "general 68kMLA news and stuff." Might get you a bit up to speed on some of the inherent issues with this system. . .let us know what you think from there.

Are you sure we're not running it on a Commodore 64?

I always thought we were running on an Altair 8800 and Apple I combo.

The Apple I being the server, the Altair 8800 being the monitor stand.
