Here goes- I've a Classic 1mb/superdrive and i adore the footprint/form factor. thing is, i cant get it to even email or websurf, even if i could, itd be laughable. i'd like an se/30 or color classic to toy with, anyone have anything? discolored cases are ok( i smoke, so even a pretty, gleaming one would be yellow in a couple months anyhoo) but no cracks/chunks missing, please=) Things i could trade: any part from a 5260/100 i hooked it up for my niece and nephew and the damned thing has the questionmark inside the disk, im not savvy, so ill take it apart for ya=) ive a cute little newton 120 with 2.0OS and a couple of network cards that work in the 5260(i could never get it online, either) so the se/30 doesnt need the ethernet, i guess these are the correct type? i can pay, partial trade, whichever |

I have a Classic II with 10MB RAM that is in perfect condition, lots of apps loaded, and I can even throw in a little 14.4 Modem (serial) for you.Where abouts do you live? A trade for newton would be cool. I can see what I can scour up to send with the Classic II.

I got an SE/30 Here with a network card in it, 32MB RAM, SSW 7.5, Netscape 2.0 on it, it runs great, but as i have like 5 of these i dont need another. Id be willing to trade it for a newton that you got. its got a 700mb hard drive for it and an external scsi cd rom. I'll include a cd full of internet apps and stuff. Its a good lil machine in fact it was my first one for the net.

interestingly smoking effects your mac's internals too. smoke settles on the floppy drive's heads and they don't read properly anymore. It increases the rate of dust building up inside the case.I know someone who is so touchy about this that if they walk into a computer shop and smell cigarette smoke they turn around and leave. The only thing I hate more then broken shit and grime is opening up my latest EBAY purchase to the smell of marboro or menthol cigarettes.
