Well... This is my first attempt at photoshopping an image and I was wondering what you think? (besides the fact that the reflections are screwed up)http://www.jsellnau.us/geekwurkz/images/islands.jpg And, for those of you with cable modems... http://www.jsellnau.us/geekwurkz/images/untitled.jpg (~3MB) Nick ------------------------- Llama-X Dev Team ·····Liberations····· ·A2:2 ·68k: 7 ·Contraband(PPC):1 ·They-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named(x86): 7 ·Other Systems:2 |

I like it, very nice for your first shop! Now, as one shopper to another, here are things I would work on, more for your own skill rather than 'fixing' the image, i like it alot as it is. -Make the edge of the islands with the "sun" behind them a bit more blurred and such. maybe select just that area and do a gaussian blur. It just seems a bit "sharp" to me. -As Z said(and yourself), the reflection. I am VERY impressed you got it to look that good on your first shot. On thing that is easy and would add a great deal of realism, a simple gradient mask. This will make the part closer to the foreground more transparent, adding a nice effect. -The border to the trees just kinda looks unfinished-ish. Its hard to see on the small version, but on the 3mb one, you can see. I honestly don't know what you would wnat here, its more of your artistic vision in that area. Hope that helps. I am quite impressed with it, keep up the good shopping! ~The Penguin **| Want free 68kmla email? Pretty good ^_^heh… if anyone wants to see Photoshop stuff I've done… http://www.toheart-infinity.cjb.net/ http://geocities.com/clandeltacat/frames.html I think all the images on ClanDeltaCat were done in Photoshop 4.0 and all the images except for HMX's drawings were done [or at leasted edited in Photoshop] Oh and be sure to look at the middle group of fan art… If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac! Ok, I am lazy but I put together a directory of all the pshp stuff I could find (which involved looking in two folders). I put it up at: http://torpedobird.com/~magicpenguin/images/pshp/~The Penguin **| Want free 68kmla email?
