I don't "get" sleep, I >DO< sleep. Once I converted the word "sleep" to a full action verb, it became far easier to use. The oft overloaded "get", not unlike "have", seldom survives even a passing transactional analysis

Good luck…

Not enough, 5-7 hours continuous, usually 8 a day. Siesta's are great. Anyone seen the Seinfeld episode with Kramer taking naps?

{i}cause I get between 5-7.5 hrs on a normal weekday[night]{/i}

thats a fair amount, you have time to a regular job (8hrs) + another irregular job and you still might have time to sit down and eat once in while

I get anywhere from 6 to 12, depending on how good my current dream is, what time i need to be up tomorrow, and how tired i am.

I get plenty of sleep (usually 8-9 hours), but I am still trying to get used to waking up at 5:30

on weekends, it really depends. Normally i get maybe 2 extra hours of sleep...but if any hard work or *beverages* were involved in the previous day, I sleep a lot better.

Not enough. Usually 4-6 hours a day, unless it's a holiday or a weekend when I sleep until 10 or 11 instead of 5:30 am.

Not enough!

that is to say, 5-6 hours on a good night, I need to stay up until nearly 11, because dad leaves for work at 10:30, and the coldness (in ARIZONA!) wakes me up early...

I average 2 hours per night.

I don't sleep alot. Typically I'm up almost 24x7 for a few days then I do a recharge where I sleep for like 15 hours, then back to 24x7.

My longest spell was 72 Hours with no sleep. But I can't do that anymore, I can do 36 hours now. I did my entire Grade 7-8 with 2 hours of sleep per night.

Nighttime is the only time I am at peace, I can be alone and folks don't bug me. I'm free to do as I please and it's my personal time just for me.

hmm, a long night drinking and still going to bed at 1am?!

I tend to get around 7 hours, although that's only in recent times, until this year I would typically go to sleep around 1 and wake up at 7, now it's more like 11-12 and getting up at 6

during the week I get a little bit over 5 hours a night, weekends... well, it's sometimes less, and sometimes more... I hate everything that gets in the way of sleep... it's why I'm so cranky as of late.

And you're the one whose high school has some incomplete stuff right tBoJ?

lol...

I've never gone without sleep for more than 36 hours, I, and my parents, can assure you that...

on another note.

Good Morning Kingman!

I added another blanket last night, and went to bed a bit early, and I can easily say, that I should have gotten about 8 hours of good sleep.

I decided to change a few things and get some good sleep, because we have a game in Phoenix against Tolleson today, and because of this MLA thread

I sleep not enough. I get home from evening classes at 10:30, and go upstairs to do homework, and (in the case of last night, research the $%&*#@%$ bus strike in Los Angeles) usually surf the web, wait till friends from victoria and queensland get on, and chat with them until half past midnight, or 1AM, and get up at the crack o' dawn to be at school at 8AM on some days.

I am currently training myself to live with sleep deprivision so that I can continue work, and make enough hours in the day to do what I need to do.

anyhoo....

Cory sleep didn't have anything to do with my Schooling not being finished.

It was only in Grade 11 I had troubles due to health issues. My sleep patterns were only that way for 7-8.

when I was doing my architecture undergrad I did not get very much. during midterms and finals week, I would be on a sleep/no sleep cycle. Sleep whatever I could afford one night, pull an all nighter the other night. One time, me and 5 other of my studio mates stayed up 48 straight modeling and rendering formZ and 3dStudio. that was wierd. Body just starts turning off. Sometimes you could hear hours pass by. People stop making sense. And then the next time you sleep, you don't wake up until your body sez so.
Last time I pulled an all nighter was about a month ago. . .had a deadline. there is something I kinda like about rocking it out all night. But year by year, my body can take it less and less.

I love sleep
