tyr the lowendmac.com swaplist, they usually have a few there. I got my drive and 10 carts for maybe $15? shipped

aww darn!I had a chance at a SyQuest 44mb drive and carts [for free!] but I didn't think to take em… www.syquest.com may have em, but if they do they will be outragously overpriced [I'd reccomend ebay] If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac! Whatever you do don't invest any cash in it, these things were hopeless and not that reliable. If you get something for free or almost free great, but otherwise CD burners are ridiculously cheap, heck even a zip drive is better, well maybe....-------- Apple ][e. Syquest 44's work great on apple IIgs where speed isnt that important and cd drives are not that common. I also remember seeing an external syquest 44 for the old atari ST line.I wouldnt bother trying to use them on a newer mac or pc, but a retro system that originally had one as a high end option would be ok.
