Yea… My dad is always getting upset about me burning stuff on his G4 iMac, and my cousin needs to have a CD burner at all…All that matters is that they can burn at least 2x [maybe 1x if the price is right…] also, I *may* consider an internal ATA drive… [also, if the price is right] But one of them HAS to be SCSI [my cousin would need to burn from an 8600/G3/270; hence no ATA for him] I could trade: •a SCSI card or two [50 pin and 68 pin internal, 80pin external] •Mac Portable [maybe depending what what you have; or email me about this if you just want to buy it…] •PowerBook 145B [No batt., missing a bunch of screws, hard drive appears bad, some internals may be lose; also for sale seperately if you want] •PowerBook 140-180c AC adapter [this thing is Apple and basically new] •40mb HD [if you acctually had some need for it…] •Maybe a SyQuest EZFlyer… [works, I could include a cart. {230mb}] •5200/75LC Mother board [has RAM {don't know how much; 2 sticks}, Cache, and Ethernet card] •Remus lite 1.3.4 [RAID SW, can do all but 4 and 5 I belive] •Maybe a QuickTake 200 [with 2mb 5v Smart Media card, AC adapter, Serial-camera cable {serial-camera cable may be bad}] •USB Smart media [3v, since it wont work with the QuickTake's card] and Compact flash reader •AAUI-15 to Ethernet or ThinNet adapters [Asante, and Focus] •a 17" NeXT monitor [you know, the cool B/W one that I think came with the cube?] •LaserWriter Select 310 •Epson C80 printer [this thing is pretty new, but someone removed the USB port, so I can't test it… It still has a Parallel port] •2 Dell PSU's [I tested one and it works, but I can't find a switch on the other one to test it…] If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac! iThink 1x and 2x burners are kinda rare because that was when CD burners were really expensive. They didn't start to become affordable until about 4x. I have a 2X burner. works like a dream! supports raw packet burning, hence renderring most current CD protection redundant! I don't need it, and I could use cash (or a quicktake 200 >= ). BTW it's a CDRW, 6X2X2, ricoh mediamaster 6200S. look it up. would that be sufficient?THnsnxs "duuuuude.... my hand is all... purply...." 10000Th poster and 1000Th AND 1500Th topic creator in lounge. and remember, if you try and install mac OS 10.2 on an early G3, you will go insane, and aquire a thirst for blood! |

from the sound, that'd be nearly exactly what he's looking for.On another, also slightly less exploding note. I have an HP something or other, ATA, 2x2x24x (2x write, 2x rewrite, 24xread) drive. I'm not currently using it, and seeing as how I have the TiBook if I need to do any burning. I'm not sure if it would work with OSX on my G3 Official 68k videographer Official MLA TourGuide Editor of the MLAgazine "I'm just a normal computer geek who somehow landed a social life" |

boredomconquersall :Yes!Okey my questions about it: •Is it internal or external [googling was a conflict of info] •if it's an internal, would it still work well external •would it work fine with Toast Ti5 [or do you have something that would be better for it] Oh I just found the same one on ebay… http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2758661845&category=14928 so just about like that? Anyway, the QuickTake is valued about about ~50$ and according to that ebay auction the burner is about ~20-40$ So… What do you want to do? If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac! Cool, I should be able to ship very quickly [my mom works for the Post Office, and I still have the bubble wrap that I got the camera in, which is pretty safe] So… Want to ship at the same time?
