Anyone remember how earlier on in the year I was saying that I was starting an archive of a whole bunch of old websites dated mid '90s from the WayBack machine, which is starting to run out of space? Well, I got bored and decided to do some more work on it tonight. Here's what i have:

- Some parts of the old MacAddict websites
- Some parts of the old MacWorld site
- Some parts of the old apple.com pages
- Some parts of PowerComputing
- Some parts of UMAX

Unfortunately, the WayBack machine is currently experiencing "Technical Difficulties", so i'll have to save some fo the work till tomorrow.

Lol, really? I do all my pages "RetroStyle" these days, anyway. Makes them look and work better on older systems.

Here's what I'd want in a mid-90's Macintosh Clone maker...

Tower with a sliding door that covers drives *(A-La UMAX S900)
14" Monitor with built in speakers (A-La PowerComputing dealie)
The same keybaord that all the others use (A-La all the others)
Desktops in various sizes, for various applications (like a large desktop that's basically the same as the tower, a smaller one that could be considered portable, and at least one convertible machine)

Maybe I'll make a FakeCloneMaker

Update on progress: I now have all of UMAX and NewerTech that i could get. Amazingly, the November 1996 NewerTech page still works, and has stuff dating back to '95.

hehehe, if I were to mirror RetroNet (if it's ok with you) it, it'd probably be umax.retronet.genecomp.net

or retronet.genecomp.net/umax
