YAY! I just got 4000 posts, and I'm now almost to 5412 posts, at which point I blow up, and am regenerated (like a phoenix IIRC) and we all have a party (that was the plan right?)

much as I have a tendency to bring fantastically controvercial stuff to this forum, and the excellent moderation team seems to catch it before even one person can reply, the MLA has still, as a whole been a great community, very supportive of me and the silly things that I somehow get myself into ( building projectors, and making SuperServers among other things that need not ruin the happy mood of this topic.)

As well as that, I (*mostly) had a very good night before I got home last night...

the volleyball game last night, at our home (Kingman High School) was very exciting, and I saw it from a special hole in the wall above the gym, with a video camera (#6 if anyone's interested in it's number ) I was supposed to tape the JV game, and I was lucky to catch the last winning shot within seconds of the end of the tape, and I also got all of our Vartity game(s), Sorry fresman, y'all will probably be videotaped anohter time though

So my signature is proven once again, The Official 68kMLA VideoGrapher.

Nice. What did you use to tape it? My old school had these antique Panasonic VHS cameras...they were big hulking things that you actually put a full sized VHS tape inside! And don't get me started about the audio/video quality....EWW! I'm sure your school has more sense than that though.

Actually, ML5, that was almost the exact camera I used...

My RCA VHS camera is about the same, but the video quality is cool.

Somehow I really don't care about the postcount.

When I redid my new name all I wanted was to get rid of that annoying "New Member, Starting Memer" and get to Full Member so I could feel like I was a little gorwn up.

This isn't flame bait but somehow I don't see the point of celebrating more eltronic signals that translate into posts. If those posts powered a LightHouse then that would be different.

my theory is that he will never be able to reach 5412 posts ... the nano-second before he hits the "post" button on his 5412th post he will spontaniously combust, so the post wont be posted, so he is still at 5411 posts ... and this carries on for infinity ...

maybe that was it...

and you expect me to post less than 1390 times before ubergather?

that's almost four years

in just less than 1.5 years, I've posted 4000+ times, are we sure that it's possible for.... dot dot dot... etc

it's not so much that i care about the post count (but it would be a blatant lie if I said that i truthfully had no care for it) it's that I am a somewhat talkative person, and unlike many of the others here, I don't frequent many others here...

I can think of like, three or five people at the least, who go to MAF, AFF, here, LEM and many others...

are you a freshman in HS this year, or somewhere in freshman in College?

UberGather sounds pretty cool, hope I have enough $$$ saved by then to allow a trip to Seattle. Are we bringing our 68k laptops? haha I don't really need to ask.

LOL, cool..

why postpone ubergather? there's still nearly 4 years until 2007 anyway, and IIRC, you were the very one saying that we should have it in 2006 or 2005... (along with many other people...)

I found this kind of funny when I noticed it a minute ago.

Cory, you've been a member at the Community for over a year now, but have only accumulated 59 posts in that time.

That's PROOF in your corner that you don't always post just to increase your count.

I am surprised you let ML5 get 700 on you though.

Probably not.

I think Danny still has around 400 more posts than him there too. It would be interesting to see if he could catch up. Babbito only joined a few months ago and has almost doubled Corys amount there. A lot of those being rather long posts to boot.
