I have shut it down due to certain issues with bandwidth and pricing and such.
I need to get ~coxy to change that.

Even mine was down for a week or so, a power outage borked a lot of my network stuff, and the lighning strike that caused the outage also borked the cable company's wiring on a pole in town (and it took em 1.5 weeks to find that one). It should be up and running now at 68k.dyndns.org

I should have broadband coming soon (again, that is just speculation) and of course, my 20 gig hard drive, does running an HL server require Classic (OS9?) because my server runs Jaguar Server, I might be able to help in that way...

New version of Hotline is Mac OS X compatible but it's loaded with spyware.

I have an old version that's free of spyware but you have to run it with Classic Enviroment.

There may be clones of the server out there that run on X.

hmm, Maybe I'll try running that new version anyway, most of what I'm sure we have is nothing that governments would be interested in anyway right?

I've found Zombie to be a good OS X Hotline client.. but really, Hotline should be left to the Windows lusers and such.. come to Carracho!

I'm almost always running my Carracho server, and if we all used Carracho instead of Hotline, we probably would find that our feeling of "community" is greater.

Then again, I'm not sure all of you deserve some of the stuff that I have.. hehe j/k

I find hotline to be extremely reliable and easy to use on any platform. Whereas Carracho crashes before it even finishes loading on my iMac (OS 9.1) (when I was using 9 on the iMac, I also haven't tried carracho since... the HL server is just fine for me
