I know that is not a liberation but let's call it a rescue for $10 CDN

Found a Quadra 700 stashed off in a corner of a Value Village. Dusty as anything inside but in very nice condition on the outside. No cracks or yellowing. Haven't had time to fire it up yet but the RAM and VRAM slots are full - fingers are crossed as I had wnated these guys since I saw the article in Macworld oh so many years ago

Same VV had a stock SE (FDHD) and an upgraded SE (Radius 25 accelerator) with 2 Page display card. Get this - they wanted $14 CDN each.

Yeah, I bought a lot of 4 Quadra 700's, all just so I could have one of them to run A/UX on. It runs it quite nicely, quickly, efficiently, just like it was supposed to, all on 20 MB of memory.

Yep, I think it is time for A/UX. 20 MB of RAM and 500 MB hard drive.

I have to wipe the drive as it happens to have a lot of info on it. I don't understand how people can just give a computer away and not bother to erase the drive

lol, that's nothing, all the HD's and computers I got from LazerQuick had loads of their designs, pictures, and info on em ;) It was kinda weird though…

If I open my window all the bugs will get in…That's just one more reason to use a Mac!
