I just bought a Silicon Graphics 20 inch monitor based on a nice trinitron tube. I am planning on getting an SGI but I would like to use the monitor on PC's and Macs too so I need an adapter. It needs to take regular VGA input and combine the V-sync and H-sync and green into the one green wire. Companies do make the adapter I need but I dont feel like spending that kind of cash right now. I am willing to trade anything in my posts for it. That would include things like a duodock and duo, or a radius rocket board, among other things.Logan Quadra 950, Workgroup Server 9150, Performa 6400, Powerbook 2300c, 4x Quadra 700's, iBook |

If they did, I would like to know where, maybe I can still snag one. Oh, and here are some pics of it. http://home.cfl.rr.com/jupiterheights/20d11a.jpg http://home.cfl.rr.com/jupiterheights/20d11a.jpg and yes, that is a remote control. You use it to adjust everything that you would usually do with buttons on the front of a regular monitor. It was actually supposed to be an ebay thing, but I forgot to bid and she sold it to me anyways. It was 40 plus she hand delivered it for 20, so all tolled, 60 bucks for an SGI monitor. I was able to get it delivered because she was just in the next town. Logan Quadra 950, Workgroup Server 9150, Performa 6400, Powerbook 2300c, 4x Quadra 700's, iBook |
