yup it allows you to host a paralelle printer on an ethernet network, and its mac compatible

hrm... I may want one as well, do they work with all printers or just HP? Actually my biggest question would be, do they work with Brother P-2500 laser printers? i couldnt get my d-link print server to work with it... so now its on my Epson 740 in my room...________________

it has 10BaseT Ethernet On It, it also has BNC Connections for the old style coaxial network. I have been accepting a lot of trades lately so trades work fine. I just got my HP Print Server running, I have a Canon BJC 4500 on it thru parallel linked to my 7600 thru ethernet works great on any sort of printer.
