I've just taken delivery of an Apple Portrait monitor which I've hooked up to my 660av. The picture quality is fantastic (I'm on it now), and it was unused (it was still in original plastic wrapping). However, the picture is crooked, by about 15 degrees. Is there any software that will allow me to 'rotate' the picture slightly so that it is straight? Or should I just put a bit of cardboard under the left hand side to do the job? (!) TIA Jobf |

Hmm thanks for that. It looks good, however, the manual refers to the US version and it states: quote: Apple produced domestic and international versions of the Portrait Display. The troubleshooting and repair procedures differ for each version of the monitor. This manual covers the domestic version only. For documentation on the Portrait Display “Series B,” refer to the international manual.
I'm in the UK, so I presume before I take it to bits, that I have the International model. Can it be that different I wonder? Should I just dive in? Edited by - jobf on 17 Sep 2003 03:28:49 |

It makes me wonder if by the "International model" they mean either a different voltage, or a CRT that has been adjusted for use in the Southern Hemisphere. I'd say its called that because it has a CRT that is set up for the Southern Hemisphere. Obviously, you're in the North Hemisphere, so you may have a US version."**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |
