Netpresenz for Macintosh is a good server, some sites still have downloads of it. The version hasn't changed at all, so you can try it for temp needs.

There are tonnes of ftp servers for Windows that are freeware. Probably gaping security holes though.

Or, if you run Mac 06 you can just grab any popular UNIX ftp app and run it in that enviroment, or MachTen if you have a copy.

Ugh! Cory how could you suggest such a thing? Sory but Novell Netware is ugly POS that is so buggy it beats Microsoft hands down in that arena.

Wait till you experience the power of FirstClass and you'll never think of Novell again.

I haven't tried v6.5, but I have used v3.11 and v5.1 and they both are way better than Microsoft! There's a story of an old Novell 3.x server that everyone used at my old college. Nobody could figure out where it was, so they just started to follow the wires and they went through a wall and stopped. It turned out that they had walled off the server and forgot to put in a door. Just try running Mordor$haft Windoze for 7 years 24/7. Ain't gonna happen.

I agree. Novell really does suck. Anyone remember my old school's Novell NetWare 6.0 DownGrade™?

it was just a thought...

I really don't have enough experience with it to say much one way or the other.
