Can anyone give me a reason for the large assortment of error messages I am getting over the last 4 days in trying to visit the forum.....before it borkes again?

Good ideas usually are created by crazy people, go figure...

I know of a reason. Its because we're running a Mordor$oft based server.

IIS is not as stable as a full fledged UNIX system, and the Administration at literatureclassics most likely has issues to deal with and cannot treat our small portion of the site as a primary importance.

So, we need to be acustomed that we will not recieve priority as if we paid for the service. We are a bonus. Anything we get is an extra over and above.

Fedorenko, I'm surprised you haven't seen these threads before?

It's always the same thing and unless someone tells us otherwise I really don't think it's going to change any time soon. It's something we just have to grin and bare.

To be honest these threads are getting almost as tiresome as the down time

Actually, it's not *always* the same thing, because this time it was the web server using too much CPU and dropping requests.

I have seen them before, but jeez, It was 4 days pretty constant downtime. I dont ccare about the odd borkout, these things happen.

Like someone else said, Over the four days, I probabaly say 5 differnet error messages/symptons.
